The thing with sri lankans are they think they are so good.Yeah every one might say she's a whore.But they are so fasinated by dragging someone down,Which is far uglier than becoming a whore.

I brought the topic because that's how u see the society, as I sensed. Sri Lankan parents aren't weak. How do you even measure the weakness ? Most parents in Sri Lanka don't leave their children in basements and go clubs to drink and play stupid games with their peers. Most of them don't abandon their kids as they are becoming of age. Most even compromise their peace and happiness to give their children a better future. Parents in Sri Lanka are truly concerned about their daughters being friends with drunks and vagabonds while parents in west gratify their children for finding spouses and have sex prematurely. What do you want our society to become ? A one like in US where sex is sanctified and education is demonized ? Where parents care more about whether their children have found a mate to have sex with than their grades ? Where parents blame teachers for their children's bad performance ?
Sri Lankan parents aren't emotionally weak. They just care more about their children's future than people from where you live. The ones who neglect their children for few glasses of liquor are the emotionally weaker ones. Stop measuring Sri Lankans weaknesses in western standards.
I didnt measure it any standards.Whether you like or not they are too overly concerened.How many crying in deathbeds because children dont care.What i said is over concern brings a certain amount of mental pressure to children.The pressure builds up gradually.The over concerning nature effects in every aspect of life leading to weaker children.I didnt want to bring the white mans ignorance.All im saying is parensts should become more emotionly stable before having children.Otherwise the pressure goes on thei pr head.
Yep that is the reason son .When you get bunch of A grades which you can collect into a shopping bag you ride high thinking A/L would be eassy. You are neither the first one nor the last one whom undergoes to the same phenomenon.
I'm not justifying either helicopter parenting or parentifying children. I agree they deserve a less stressed life and should enjoy a freedom before going into the world. But what you are doing is undermining the importance of education and overemphasizing the freedom. Uncontrolled freedom is what leads to a reckless life and that's even more unstable.
Things should be balanced and apart from few things, our society is functioning just fine and their emphasize of the importance of education is less harmful than the reckless freedom children experience in some western societies.
What importance of education is to do with father crying.That is like forcefull feeding of information.If one exam decides the course of life what kind of a society is that.That is not education it is some made up bullshit.Crying is not the mental support should a father gives.It shows he cant see a way out of it either.
What do u suggest ? His father should have been indifferent towards the actions of his son ? Are you saying he should be emotionless even if his son died ? Should crying be banned altogether ? Exams don't define ur life. but education does. One must not ruin his/her education because of exams. But that doesn't mean one should abandon learning and become a vagabond.
