Someone Already Bought (or Stole) a Pixel 3 XL in Hong Kong

Google confirmed it’ll announce the Pixel 3 in a few days, but there’s already a person who got their hands on a retail unit.

The Pixel 3 XL, which will have a notch at the top of its edge-to-edge screen, made an appearance in Hong Kong. It seems to be in an office-like environment; therefore, we suspect it was sold earlier than intended or stolen in some capacity. There was a situation in Russia in which several pre-production units were stolen and distributed on the black market.

It was spotted in Hong Kong, but we don’t have any additional information to pass along. The two photos show the Pixel 3 XL’s lock screen and settings menu.
