so since it's a tradition in our society to not break into other people's houses and steal their things we should all go against that tradition and start stealing other people's properties ? some traditions are there for our own wellbeing. start breaking traditions like a fool won't do any good and this much should be obvious to any fool.

sadly this is how most of those who are trying to be radical thinkers think. Or rather not think. It's easy for anyone to notice some convention in society and start yelling against it. What is hard is to study why it is there and what parts of a society is centered around that tradition and foresee what might be the harmful consequences of foolishly breaking that tradition.

Obviously some tradition can and should be broken for the advancement of a society. But this kind of foolish generalizations is a result of ot understanding on how a society functions.

Kind of yeah. But what I'm against is changing for the sake of change. Instead what we should do is understand what is good and change in that way. I believe generalizations stops at physics (or chemistry of which I am not sufficiently informed state any opinion of mine). Sociology is more holistic and complex area where linear thinking with reductionism and generalization loses their power.
