    Could you explain please

    ;-)

The people who got married recently (people who born after 1990) are basically comparing others via social media platforms (not everyone but most of the people). So whenever they do not do well in life and others do pretty well. They do see that on FB/insta..etc. So eventually they get depressed which could lead to divorce :sorry::sorry:

True. But I’d like to highlight much common issues like lack of self esteem, selfishness or high esteem or being egotistic. This often leads to create wreck havoc in the society as many educated (I mean the people who think as educated because they’ve passed exams) people in higher positions often suppress people of lower positions. This is evident in all categories in the social hierarchy.

I have another opinion. Materialism also could be another pivotal issue which is detrimental.

You are referring to Mental and Spiritual Health. Right?

What social media has done is, they can manipulate what the society things.
They can promote or reduce the number of times a certain post is shown.
When even a false fact is heard many times, people tend to start believing them.

Popular search engines can manipulate what is shown as your search results. They don't expose their searching algorithm. That's why you cannot quote a google search in an academic study.

By using these technologies, as a community, you become salves of someone else. However, we do not have good alternatives as well.

Since the point of passing exams was brought forward, I though of commenting this.

Sri lanka "said" to be having so-called "free" education.
Its true that we have free primary and secondary education.
However, tertiary education is "free" for a very very small fraction.
Some countries without "free" education, have a portion of graduates, greater than Sri Lanka.
Therefore, I guess there is an issues in the "free" education of Sri Lanka.
Its may be true that the government cannot afford providing free tertiary education for many.
However, I guess, right to education is a human right.

Therefore, opportunities should be made available to people who wish to get tertiary and postgraduate education. Providing educational loans is a good initiative. Government facilitation to make the loans with minimal interest is good.

People struggle hard at Advanced level, because of the very limited oppotunity for tertiary education. People try hard to get into "better" schools, in view of getting better results at advanced level. Therefore, the stress kids having at scholarship is an indirect effect of not having adequate opportunities for teretiary education.

A significant proportion of the society are either diabetic or prone to diabetes. Introducing a color coding to soda beverages has been effective in providing an insight to consumers. However, it is said that many milk products and biscuits in the market are having very high sugar content. How about extending the color coding to Milk products and biscuits. !!!

Many employees spend about 4 hours per day for travelling to work. As per our observations, although they come to work by 8.30am, just after reporting their arrival for work, they go for breakfast. (it's not unreasonable, as they leave home around 5.30am. ;-). Therefore, proper office work starts only around 9.30am. Furthermore, travelling exhaustion reduces their productivity. This is another significant problem.
