It is the other way around with a good pair of in-ear monitors.
1. Good acoustical seal to retain bass inside the canal much better.
2. Since the sound is pumped to the ear directly no acoustic distractions and imbalances produced by ear itself.
3. Good EMs have individual drivers for low/high/mids for a better acoustical balance.
4. Natural noise cancellation for IEMs drastically improves the sound quality over cans.

agree for all ,but headphones can give you a much different experience(because of large drivers) , එහෙමයි කියලා headphones හොදයි කියන්න බෑ it depends on personal preferences , i personally prefer iems because of portability, මු ගෙදර ඉදන් අහන නිසා මුට එක අදාල නෑ ,including noice cancellation
anyway උබ use කරන iem එක මොකද්ද ?
Muchan, not making any argument here. Driver eka loku wewnna dynamics adui. Eka tamai tweeters eheme podiyata hadala tiyenne (small speakers -> fast moving)...Dan ena very high end setup wala use karanawa arrays of small speakers than big speakers because of this reason.
