    Brave is based on the Chromium engine. It was co-founded by one of he co-founders of the Mozilla project. Basically it blocks all the ads but can send you ads from its own network. That's how the model works. It seems to be fast on a desktop but a lot faster on mobiles.

    Also note that there's a less known browser "Epic" - again based on Chromium - which concentrates on the users privacy.

    Just installed on Mac, seems faster and lighter than Chrome. Basically almost all plugins of chrome can be installed to Brave.

    Not all of Chrome's extensions run on Brave. The list of compatible add-ons can be found by choosing "Extensions" from the Window menu.

    chromium based නිසා plugins අවුලකුත් නෑ..
    chrome එකේ ඒවම දාත හැකිනෙ..

    Then it is probably collecting user data as well. Because those ads produces results only when they are delivered to targeted audience. Personal data will be required for targeting.​
