This is guddi.
A nine years old girl. The name “Guddi” literally means “Doll” in English if you’re wondering.

She’s from a village of Shikarpur, interior Sindh province.
She was forcibly married to this man recently. Father of the bride practically sold his daughter by accepting some money from the groom, he needed the money to lay off debts he was carrying for some time now.
I don’t know about you, but this is one scary real life image for me. You see; death or near death dogma’s aren't the only scary aspects to be presented. Sometimes for some people, life can be even more scarier and painful.
Police heard of this marriage and busted the ceremony,
Guddi is in safe hands now.

And this monster of a groom is behind bars.

The bride’s father ran away with the money as well as the marriage officiator. Police are looking for them both and it’s only a matter of time for both of them to be caught and charged.
But this is horrific enough.
Guddi was lucky. Countless other like her? not so much!
What I cannot begin to fathom is, how come the parents, the relatives, friends or the whole God damned neighborhood let things like these happen in the first place. How? I mean… where’s the morality or hint of sense amongst all those people?
How in the hell they’re not collectively responsible for these types of atrocities.
Why do they have to rely on Police to stop acts like these, are we on our own as a society not good enough!
Ah, this is hopeless.
It really is.
Somewhere from those backward areas… some poor child must be forcibly married and ruined, as we speak.
