පසුගිය දිනෙක පැරෂුට් අනතුරකින් ගුවන් හමුදා පැරෂුට කරුවෙකු මිය ගියා. සාමාන්‍යයෙන් පැරෂුට් අනතුරක් වෙන්න තියන අවස්තාව ඉතාමත් විරලයි. කෙටියෙන්ම කියනවනම් පැරෂුට් කියන්නේ අද කාලේ ඉතා නවීන වැඩි දියුණු කල උපකාරණයක්. පැරෂුටයක් දිග ඇරීමේ සම්භාවිතාව 100%

එහෙම එකක් නැහැ . අද කාලේ කොහොම පැක් කලත් දිග ඇරෙනවා. මම මේ සබ්ජෙක්ට් එකට ඉස්සර ඉඳලම ආස නිසා ගොඩක් හොයලා බැලුව. ලොකු කමකට කියනවා නොවෙයි මම ඩුබායි වලත් ස්කයි ඩයිවින් ගියා. තනියම පනින්න නම් බැහැ . තව කෙනෙක් එක්ක පැන්නේ .


අනෙක මචන් පැරෂුට් එකේ බෑග් එක සෙට් කරගන්නේ පනින කෙනාමයි. උබ කියන ආකාරයට වෙන අයත් කරනවා වෙන්න පුල්ලුවන්. එහෙනම් බෑග් එක සෙට් කරන එකා හිතා මතාම Damage කරලා තියෙන්න ඕනේ.

True... The statistics of a death is very low as the member 50kg stated, when comparing with the number of skydives taken each year.
Having said that, it is also relevant to note that one in a thousand parachutes will fail to open correctly. These malfunctions require the use of the reserve parachute.
It is practically near impossible that the parachute not to open. What happens is that it doesn't open in the classic flyable configuration.
The important factors are the proper maintenance & care of the parachute, correct packing and the correct body position in the deployment.

If anything can go wrong it will.. and sometimes accidents do happen. There are instances of people falling from great heights without parachutes and survived.

BTW does anyone know what really happened in this instance?
