A new battery design from Pennsylvania’s Penn State University could provide 480km of driving range to an electric car battery with just a 10 minute charge, according to new research published on Wednesday.

The oil companies naturally does not like the EV development. However they are investing on EV Charging infrastructure as well - just in case. In Europe about 80% of these are owned by them. In the US the story is a bit different.
