From where did you planned the Egypt tour ?

TourRadar... They had a 73% off offer. But if you are really interested I have contacts with their local tour company in Egypt. (TourRadar operates from Canada) I will pm you the details. I should have the business card somewhere.

    Malaysia and China...

In China, I was queuing for immigration and a bunch of people came and stood by me, some people after me. Then one officer came and asked for their passes and they submitted as a group. He asked from me also and I said I'm not a part of these people they just came here and cut in.
This mofo kept on saying to me " Go back to queue" for like 5 times. I refused for a while, then I had to go back since there were nobody could understand a word of English. ( also my bag was over weight)

Yes, someimes they do it on random checks too. If you are a frequent traveller get a TSA PreCheck.
A long time ago when this came into place we all got it free, compliments from Delta Airlines. Many major US airports have an express PreCheck lane, no removal of belts, shoes, laptop, jacket etc.

Yeah. Getting pre-check now has a face to face interview with TSA I think. Kinda hard to get for non-US people nowadays.

The worst Immigration experience was in Cambodia. About three years ago another family joined us from Colombo to Phonm_Penh. We cleared immigration first , took less than 3 mins and was waiting till the other family joined. Waited over an hour, no signs of them, I cannot go inside again but I had a Cambodian Driver/Guide with me. After one and a half hours he went inside. He was questioned how he knows them. He really didn't know them as all his dealings were with me. Finally after further checking them, an a body search too, mainly as harassment,, they let them in.
Afterwards I found out that all they required was just $10USD enclosed in the passport.
So if anyone going there please note, even though you have a valid visa, a tip goes a long way.

On the service side the worse is Santiago (Chile). Santiago is very busy, as it's the central point in South Americas. We flew in from Punta-Arenas to Santiago and had one and a half hours to check in for the next flight to Lima, Peru - same Airline LATAM.
The queue was horrible, only 4 or 5 counters manned, they are very slow. Aftre waiting we jumped the queue saying to others that we will miss the flight. Finally when we arrived at the gate, gate was closed, the aircraft doors were open, but not one single airport or airline staff to let us in through the gate. We missed the flight. (they unloaded the baggages)
Later on when complained to the airline, they sent a staff member, We had 7 in the group. I was taken out again through the immigration, taken to the airline office, given tickets to the next flight which was due in 3 hours. Then the same girl came with me and escorted to the gate back through the immigration bypassing the queue. Luckily we arrived nearly midnight in Lima. We had to take another flight to the Amazon, the next day at 9AM. If anyone transiting through Santiago make sure at least 2.30 hours to the next flight.

Also there is a bit of a delay in Swarnabhoomi (Bangkok) if you transit, with the security checks. They send all the transit passengers through a bottle-necked security check. But it's not that bad, but has a considerable delay.

I have traveled to many countries, except to Russia & the two Koreas, and the above ones are the worst experiences.

    sorry to hear about this

Thanks.. That's how airports treat the passengers. I have in fact sent a written complaint to Swarnabhoomi airport feedback to lift their game up in the security screening for transit passengers.
But in Changi airport things are different, At least if you fly with SQ with a connect to SQ they wait for you. In 2018 December, I flew into SIN on a long haul flight which got delayed because of a problem with the airport traffic at the departure. When we landed in SIN we were 20 mins past the departure time for the flight to CMB. SQ staff were at the exit door of the aircraft, with a name tag, took us in the buggy straight away to the waiting flight. They held the flight only for the four of us. They said don't worry about the baggage, it will be loaded - and it did. They are damn efficient in Singapore. One of the best in the world.

Both in Cambodia and Chile it was the immigration. In Chile I flew in from near Tierra Del Fuego (belongs to Chile) and flying to LIma (Peru) What was holding is the understaffed lethargic Immigration in Santiago. It's the main hub in South Americas. Otherwise I had the boarding passes for Peru in my hand. No check in was needed.
