There are conspiracy theories.. These are not proven or based on facts really. So it's up to anyone to believe it or not.
The truth is there's evidence from 1920 where SIV (Simian Immunodeficiency Virus) was noted in the Congo. As the name implies it attacks the immune systems of monkeys and apes.
Somehow in 1980, HIV was noticed.
Having sex with a monkey is not the only way it can jump into a human. Chimps are killed and eaten too. It must have crossed to humans through blood.
I am not saying anything other than to present you with evidence and facts.

It's pretty unhygienic conditions which causes these bugs. Sewage, rotting garbage, humans, animals (dead and alive), blood makes a real soup for various pathogens.

That's why they quarantined the city... No transport in or out from Wuhan. At least that's what needs to be done.

It's a virus. Antibiotics to do not work on viral infections. Your body immune system fights and beats it. That's how it works.
(so don't take antibiotics for minor viral infections. Sadly it has become a habit in the sub-continent to take antibiotics for anything. Used like vitamins)
If you are weak then this can lead to drastic results.
There are in fact a few anti-viral drugs, but these target only a particular virii group.
