යුරෝපානු රටවල් අතරින් කොරෝනා වෛරසයේ ප්‍රබල බලපෑමට ලක්වූ රටක් ලෙස සැලකෙන ප්‍රංශයෙන් මේ වන විට ආසාදිතයින් 1412 දෙනෙකු හදුනාගෙන ඇති අතර සිදුව ඇති මරණ සංඛ්‍යාව 30 ක් වෙයි.

India now has more than 50 coronavirus cases


Nine new novel coronavirus cases have been confirmed in southwest India today, health authorities there said, bringing the total number of patients in the country to 56.

Three cases were detected in Karnataka, according to the state’s commissioner of Health and Family Welfare, Pankaj Pandey, while another six were reported in Kerala and are under quarantine.

In response, the Kerala government is suspending all schools and canceling nearly all year-end exams, according to Dr. Amar Fettle, a senior government official in the state.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan also said the state government will suspend all public programs until March 31 and launch what he called "awareness programs."

Two Sri Lankans among confirmed COVID-19 cases in UAE

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday announced five new COVID-19 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 17.
Earlier on Tuesday, the ministry had announced 15 new cases of coronavirus, taking to 74 the total number of infections in the country.
The new cases include three Italians, two Emiratis, two Sri Lankans, two Brits, two Indians, and one from Germany, one from South Africa, one from Tanzania, and one from Iran.
