To use the reserved instance type you bought, all you have to do is select that instance type in the appropriate step.

Hi mchn I know how to create ec2 instance, i actually created ev2 with free tier. I know how to ssh and login and all. What im telling is different mchn. There's a plan called savings plan. I boight one setting the minimum commitment as 0.001$ per hour. So it was 8.7$. But that doesn't create problems show any instances under instances page. Should I create a new instance after I purchase the savings plan? I dont know how to explain this. Can we have a quick zoom call mch if u dnt mind. Wud be a big help

If you are new to AWS then try to get familiarize on instance provisioning or other AWS services first rather than moving ahead with reserved or savings plans.

Just use the normal pay as you go plan and when you are not using the instance make sure to stopped it.

When needed you can start it from the console and terminate if you want.
