The thing is Automatics is boring when you are going on a long trip. Even manual is boring if it the Highway.
But Automatics is great when you travel around Colombo especially during office time.

Maintaining the maximum legal speed with minimum use of brakes is my kinda fun - so any car with decent handling (which can clear the corners at 70kmph) and acceleration (to quickly overtake the occasional road hog) is fun for me regardless of it being auto or manual
I prefer automatic becuase of the freaking traffic in Colombo where I travel usually. But prefer manual in long trips.
