From that logic, are you ok with government spying / monitoring on you? As you said, if you have nothing to hide / if you don't do anything illegal, why bother raaaaaaaight?
"Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say." - Edward Snowden

Bang on....who want to live where every single moment is monitored... this basically kills your creativity and brings your self esteem down. Privacy is important because it gives us power to choose feelings and thoughts and decide who we share them with...

    No kids no worries
Yes but problem is not the kids.... how do you treat them..... this topic applies to everyone even to your partner, kids, siblings, friends and parents... you got to learn trust each other and give them their personal space I suppose....

Don't listen to assholes here. None of them are qualified to answer this question than me.

The answer is yes. Sri Lankans never develop because parents think that they know everything better than their kids. Just give the independence to kids and leave the responsibility to them :D

To those who says no, asks yourself where Sri Lanka is now and where Singapore is now :D

We have very ineffective system in place that only make things worse.

Each generation here depends on previous generation's mentality and beliefs.

Strict parenting is guaranteed to create either a failure or large bubble :D

Innovation is driven by free thinkers not strict isolated people. Greek philosophers were free thinkers.

We need thinkers not robots who follow instructions. We need people with brains to fix LKA economy.

China had great thinkers in past, but communism and strict parenting destroyed all of them and now they stealing US tech to make money :D

Very good point. I like the fact that you mentioned innovation is being driven by free thinkers….I think the time has come to think ….
