We had a quick check via dialog mobile hotspot with IDM.
It gives a fair result

Can you share the hash of the file you tried?
Are you using dialog broadband connection or a mobile hotspot?
Are there any others facing that same issue with dialog?

Hi.. thanks for checking up on this. I am using Dialog 4g Home Broadband. I have been downloding files from torrentcheat through IDM untill this week with amazing speeds. I mean I usually get 5MBps (not bits). But suddenly the speed started decreasing. As soon as I start downloading it darts the speeds up to 2-3MBps and then rapidly slows down until 500+KBps and stays in the range of (500-800KBps).

I just tried this now too and the same thing happened. My profile there is also under "kosala1212". Please check the last torrent I have there. And unfortunately I don't know if the others are also having the same issue with Dialog connections. I sure do.

Even right now there is this super awesome feature where if a certain torrent that we add is already downloaded by someone else previously, that download becomes available instantly for us too. Mostly this is true for Software, Movies/entertainment stuff. My suggestion is, what about adding a feature where mostly downloaded torrents within the platform (like mostly downloaded 50 torrents) are publicly visible in a separate section for quick download. Since the focus is only on mostly downloaded torrents, privacy concerns would be minimal. This would allow us access to some awesome content I think. Just a thought.

But the issue is doing such this is not legal. Because then we become a content provider. Right now what we do is providing the torrent client via the cloud. So the content responsibility is with the respective user. Not with us

in that case how about encouraging people to communicate via outside means ? a TG/WA group may be ? so any one who is willing to share what they have completed downloading can exchange links perhaps. will it still make the platform liable for the content ?
