1.Reduce the number of Clubs who plays first class cricket(Imagine for just a small country, we play this number of shit clubs in our 1st class tournament)
BADSC,SLARM,BLOOM,CCC,BURC,KCCC,SLAF,RAGAM,SLNAV,CHLMC,GALLE,PANAD,LKCC,NCC,TAMIL,NEGO,NSWC,KALTW,SLPAC,SINHL,MOORS,KURUN,COLTC,SARSC,PSC,SEBAS
Reduce these 26 clubs to 7 teams(may be provinces). Add 2 more clubs to make 28 clubs then per province club assign 4 teams each. They can play their own tournament like West Indies do with their internal countries championship.
2. During these matches these teams should play at club venues and also in international venues. I once heard that mahela said Dickwella haven't played a single match in Galle Cricket Stadium till his test debut. That's a shame.
3. If a player failed to score runs at the highest level (in here provincial level), he must go back to their 4 team tournament(which i mentioned at 1 ) and get back to form . No player is permanent. Because i have seen some players stop cricket after u19 level to consentrate on studies. After that they straightly sneak in to first class teams without proper performances because of their u19 school level performances which they had 4, 5 years ago.
That should not happen (ex: After Smaraweera retirement, he went to play for Worcetershire in English counties. He failed in first few games, though he is a world renouned test player like VVS Laxman, he went to play Worcetershire 2nd XI team and score 100s and came back to the 1st XI level and played very good season)
4. At that 4 team level tournament, players are free to do their day jobs if they want to. So they can earn freely.
U19 Cricket
1. Give u19 Players to take part in these tournaments. And SLC should encourage Clubs by giving extra points for havin u19 cricketers during league stages.
2. After one batch of u19 cricket finished(one batch = one u19 WC squad), U19 selection must be ready for the next u19 world cup and selection team should be aware about upcoming talents from Age of 16 then closely monitor them. If they belongs to a minor school, SLC should directly involve with major schools and help him to join a major school(schools who play div1 cricket)
3. For now we should be ready for the next u19 world cup(2022) with the current 18 year olds and 19 year olds who are eligible. Here are my suggested team

With these players SLC should start training from today onwards. These players should play seniors , to adopt in to the preassure. Because in School cricket rare to see a bowler balls over 130kmph. But when they go to u19 WC, they face many fast ballers who even touched 150kmph. Also in School cricket, bowlers do so many mistakes like bowling fulltoses short balls, but when you go to internationals its very rare, because their players also coming from First class background
4. SLC always conduct tournaments to find bowling talents like Nuwan Pradeep who came out of nowhere. For example Australia had top gun, India , Bangladesh had their own, that Ebadot Hossain guy is from a fast balling contest
5. Till u17 SLC can organize their tradiotional 2 day tournament. But at u19 level they should focus on 50 over tournament.(Beause 50 over match is where you get to experience all three formats in one game
) Mainly because schoole cricketers menatality should be focused to win u19 World Cup. From this year onwards they are doing it, which is a positive from SLC point of view.
