I see some startups having that capacity. FCode Labs is one of them, There was one another named LiveRoom (But it cannot be called a startup now as it was in the market close to 8 years now) . but still there is some way to go on Marketing end. But who knows the boom day won't be that far (But won't be in 2 years I assume)

FCode Guys were from your own batch weren't they? Ha!

Don't know about their business strategy, but they had some nice Generic products in their portfolio. Plus they were working on a MLaaS project if my memory is correct.
Somehow, as I checked in they found someone in Singapore who makes sales/marketing as a service for many of the organizations. From there onwards, they did acquire some Singapore government projects, which is strategically nice for just being a startup (Not sure about the budget though)

Don't know much about liveroom guys though

They had a chat app, but I think it was some-what a look alike product for 4Axis's flagship product.

So FCode seems to be a service-oriented company right now?
Unicorns are almost always product companies.
Never heard of 4Axis and it seems to be pretty successful with 31 m downloads😱😱

To be product oriented you need a big capital to eat through to the end. Or service oriented wing to generate revenue to pour to the product development

that's the catch...bootstrapping is the way to go initially - until you can go for a funding round.
The capital required may not amount to much with today's technology.

I guess most companies that take the latter path, just end up as successful service-oriented companies. Either way win-win.

Fund karnne kohmda bn..investorsla enwda bn me wage ratawal walata

Funding welata approach keranna puluwan loke onema rateka inne VC kenekwa. Godak welawata product development wage ewa mehe base kerana eke wasi ne… Product market eke global nan hadena thane adala na ne…

Not just Rooster, Avocado Deals, and a few more. But I think their revenue is mainly through the marketing solutions that they offer to overseas clients.

Cant we consider Virtusa as the original Sri Lankan startup that hit 1B USD?
Yeah, kinda old now..and predates the concept of a unicorn startup
