Guys, Want to send desktop PC to SL from UK. Only system units and no KB/Mouse/Monitor.

Do I need export/import license ? or any other permit due to current restrictions?

How much I tax I have to pay approximately for £280 b'new Lenovo system?

I'm sending through FedEx, are they clear item from customs and collect tax from receiver?

Receiver don't have issue with paying tax but don't want to deal with clearing process.

Are tax for the value or opened and determine the value based on look?

I sent blueray player and they ignored declared value (I declared correct amount) . Custom ignored it and charged based on local market value. End up paying 13000

Nope they are opening the package in front of you. If you ship with DHL or Fedex or whatever, their agents will clear it for you. Best way to do is send it as a gift as my client did. I paid only 350 or something. Machine is 1000 times than that

Depends on the custom officer lol. Once I ordered an injection pump for my car through DHL and an agent called me and told me that there is a 18000 custom charge. I told him to not to pay it and I was able to bargain some how. The pump was used and I bought it for $160. However they were trying to charge tax for a new item lol.

as I know, tax for PC’s are about 10%
