how does Buddhism react to homosexuality?
In Sri Lankan history, there are almost no records of homosexuality ever mentioned right?
Catholic Church didn’t have a totally neutral opinion towards this matter. But the concept of homosexuality historically existed in the western society. Which means the church didn’t completely suppress it although they didn’t accept it.
now, what about the Buddhism history? Having no historical records means there were no homosexual south Asians? Or did the religion manage to fully suppress it?
I’d like to know your opinions about this.
