So what does this mean ? I'm not a banking expert but it sounds like the govt is asking banks to either - give 25% worth value of USD to govt from their own money OR asking to give 25% from individual's accounts

Also remember that 30% income tax that was proposed ?? Looks like it's on the way

I think they're doing everything to not going to IMF. trying to sell lands and get ridiculous loans from china, India to get dollars and expect $ from tourism since now tourists start to come back to SL.
