HCL sri lanka Why they didn't pegged there emp salary's, anyone who work there??

I've got a friend there, as per him they have not officially said no to peg but have said they are considering options. Apperantly there are some Indians based here in SL and currency rate have negatively impacted when converted to INR. So they have raised the concerns too. I assume that a decesion may take some time as its huge company and usually decesions like this will take longer in larger companies

me also herd same news but they haven't start conversation with there emp, if emp not delay there work they should do the same for there emp
anyway personally i have no faith now almost more than 180 company's make there decision for there emp.
as a fresher i have no voice in the company team leads and sri lankan management team should push them to make decisions

Govt. recognises HCL as a SDP project

The Cabinet during its meeting on Monday (3) has agreed to recognise HCL Technologies Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of India’s HCL Technologies, as a Strategic Development Act, which will allow the company to enjoy major tax breaks. During the second term of Mahinda Rajapaksa’s presidency several large-scale projects estimated to worth more than US$ 250 million were granted the SDP status with tax breaks spanning up to 25 years.
