UVALDE, Texas -- Fourteen students and a teacher are dead after a shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, on Tuesday, according to Gov. Greg Abbott.

The 18-year-old suspect, a student at Uvalde High School, is also dead, he said.

Quite true... Gun deaths peaked in 2020 with 45,222 deaths and half of them were suicides. Find below a CDC graph on gun deaths. It's the result of gun lobby running politics thus the lack of political will to make a change and implement proper restrictions. You need to enact sensible gun laws to reduce access to weapons. In the USA any idiot can get a weapon of a high capacity destructive power. Also you need to address the gun culture and further address what's causing it. There are social and mental reasons.
