    • Electricity Consumption: Induction cooker is more efficient.
    • Heating: Induction cooker heats up fast but the heat is concentrated at the bottom of the cookware. Infrared cooker heats up slowly but heat is more evenly distributed.
    • Cooking: I think Infrared Cooker provides more evenly cooked food which is similar to cooking in gas. But in induction cooker heat is concentrated at the bottom of the pan so, Stir-frying things in induction cooker is a bit difficult since food gets burn very easily.
    • Cookware: Infrared Cooker is better since all kinds of cookware can be used. In induction cooker you can only use iron or stainless steel cookware.
    • Safety: Induction cooker is safer. Since it doesn’t turn on without compatible pan. and automatically turns off after pan is removed.
    • Radiation: Infrared cooker is better since it has no radiation. In induction cooker due to varying magnetic flux people with pacemaker should use care when standing near induction cooker.
    • Durability: Infrared cookers are more durable.
    • Cleaning: Induction cooker is easier to clean.

Infrared rays cause skin cancer if you expose to a source of IR. Doesn't it affect to change food protein when cooking? How to assure foods cooked is not harm to health.

What are the difference of Ultraviolet, IR, xray, gamma, and normal heat rays.
What is the difference of normal heat wave from fire wood or gas vs IR rays ??

Get a GOOD kettle. Those cheap 2,000 rupee kettles are just trash.

Arpico had some cheap kettles at around 3,500 IIRC that was good. Here in my place, I use a sweet Phillips kettle that works all well for 3 years, bought for around €30.

IMO, Induction is better. It's more efficient because you directly heat the cookware, so there is no heat transfer to the cookware.

Most stainless steel cookware should work. You can buy a set of cookware (4-5 pots) plus a pan for around Rs. 10,000 if you search around. They are easy to clean, so you don't need as many cookware either.
