At the same time he specifically states "It's agreed that there's no Eastward expansion of NATO".... Quotes his email to write to provide archived proof.
(Which is Putin's silly argument for this damned unwanted conflict.) :(
"There is no eastward expansion" or "There would be no eastward expansion"
I don't think Nato expansion is a silly argument.
Even a truly democratic leader of Russia would be concerned about Nato's expansion toward Russia's border.
I agree that it is not the only reason or maybe not the primary reason.
But it is a valid reason if you look at it from a Russian pov.

I watched it last night... Don;t remember exactly what he said. Excuses are not valid reasons most of the time. In any case any excuse to start a war cannot be justified, whether from the East or the West. That's my stand. We have come a long way from the Neanderthal ages.

    That is just naive.
I don't know what are you talking about Neanderthals.
Neanderthals did not have world wars Homo sapiens did.
In fact, one of the most cultured countries of that time, "Germany" was the cruelest in that war.
So it is very much in our DNA.

Neeandarthals probably didn't look through coloured glasses...Homo Sapiens did and still do. That's the problem. I don't have the time to listen to it again now. If you do please listen and correct it. I just wrote what I remembered. My DNA is to support what's right with a balanced view. I always call spade a spade - no matter what.
