There were 8 armored vehicles on the Ukrainian side, 2 tanks, and 6 armored personal carriers out of which 1 was IFV.

The T80 on the Russian side first engaged with the Ukrainian tank on the right side of the column and noticed the column, after which he shot 2 shots and grazed/missed the infantry carriers, then pulled back.

This in turn apparently made them panic and 1 vehicle went off the road and on top of a landmine.

The rest got stuck in the position since they seemingly did not know how many Russian tanks there were or what was going on.

Then another Ukrainian tank got destroyed by artillery and 1 more vehicle gets hit with an ATGM.

The Russian T80 returned and knocked out 2 vehicles, pulled back and once he saw or was informed by the drone operator that the Ukrainian column is in disarray he came back and finished the rest off.

The tank was not alone and it was a good team effort but still the Russian tank crew did excellent work.
