Love it.may be will own one. If they stay relevant on future. But I have doubts. Because only their Laureato collection got popular. And it has become a 1 model watch brand.

Actually these days I am in observation mode, and I am getting to be Formula 1 fan.
Sub 1000usd watches slowly increasing price. But the big ones slowly goes down. Yesterday there was big Bitcoin crash. I believe it will also affect negatively for luxury tier.
So, instead of getting small watches in fast phase, I am thinking to pause the purchasing till 2025. And get a big one.
Like a omega or a Grand Seiko or a breitling or a Cartier or if prices goes down insanely , a used Rolex OP may be.
Really don't know ..
There's no a solid plan yet.

Great minds think alike! I also dont plan on buying for the next two years or so, unless i get a call from Rolex for the GMT Master.. Or like a 50% off deal end up on my lap for some reason.

There's a massive Strom brewing in world finances/economics, better to watch from the side for the next couple of years or so..

Major events hapenning these days:

** U.S government debt is at all time high levels and exponentially growing..
** China technically in a recession.. The biggest market for luxury watches by revenue..
** Euro-zone - well, multiple issues there
** The second largest property developer in China filed for bankruptcy today. Apparently 340 billion dollars in debt (comparatively Sri Lankan national debt is around 80 billion)

** Considering the large number of automatic/luxury watches sold in the recent past, most brands are having issues with their service times (most swiss brands have lead times in months these days). Apparently there's a major shortage of skilled watch makers too.

On the other hand, dollars are also getting printed like never before, so there is potential for new watch prices to go even higher (in nominal values)

But the covid boom is definitely over, so no one knows exactly when and where prices would stabilise..

OceanStar tribute එක fully polished , shiny විදියට තියෙන්නේ. Case, strap, clasp ඔක්කොම. Brushed part එකක් එළියෙන් ඇත්තෙම නැති කරම්.
Case, strap වලට නම් අවුලක් නෑ scratches එනවා අඩුයි, clasp එක තමයි බේර ගන්න අමාරු. Desk diving නේ. හීරෙනව මේසෙට.
මම නම් selotape කෑල්ලක් අලවන් ඉන්නේ clasp එකට විතරක්.
කාලෙන් කාලෙට මාරු කරනවා ඒක.

හැබැයි fully polished නිසා , metal polisher liquid එකකින් scratches අයින් කරන්න පුළුවන්. Brushed parts හීරුනොත් ඒව diy අයින් කරන්න බෑ.

නිතර කරන්න නම් not recommended.
මොකද ඒවයින් surface meterial එක අයින් කරන නිසා. Watch වලට famous පොලිශිං liquid එකක් තියෙනවා cape code කියලා.
