SLT Fibre direct connection via SFP ONT

Anyone managed to connect to SLT Fibre without using their cheap shitty router, using a SFP stick,

I have a 2951 series cisco router , and thinking if it can be done with less hassle , any direction appriciated

you need to know their fiber Rx Tx wave lengths and then buy the proper inverse SFP module to match (or if you could ask them directly you can ask them what SFP module to buy). You cannot buy any random module and hope it works coz it's not like ethernet. Need to know if its single mode or multi mode too. If you find it please let us know it too. I don't have fiber yet so I can't even inquire.

no point in hiding it. If you state your plan they will have to tell you. Hiding specs of SFP module means that they want to force you to make you use their dumb router because they may have some shady settings hidden inside their router. Anyway if you find their router's spec sheet it might have the specification of the SFP port.

I once requested and they refused. that's why.
I just gave up because I wasn't desperately looking for it at that time.

Pretty sure they think that will derail their SLT GO shit. Hosting Wifi APs using our electricity Sri Lanka's largest ISP This is what happens when you have a monopoly backed by the gov. Just check their router's spec sheet or disassemble their router slightly and check the SFP port. It's written there
