In Sri Lankan law, There is no legal obligation for 2 consenting adults ( married or otherwise) to have sex.
If it is illegal, how many couples should be in jail right now?
However it is a clear ground for divorce - that’s true.

You may be telling this by your overseas experience ?- oh.. may be Middle East.
That’s fine - in Middle East it’s an offence which can be given death penalty even( I’ve heard)
