e kula mala pasna nisa! wena labbak na!

    Nope. Language issue.

After independence in 1947, Indian parliament voted for the their national language. One group proposed Hindustani, another group proposed Tamil and a third group proposed to create a new language called Hindi.

Hindustani and Hindi were both blends of Sanskrit and Urdu. The difference was Hindustani was one language with two scripts - Devnagiri and Arabic, but Hindi was meant to be one language one script (Devnagiri).

Tamil Nadu politicians argued that Tamil is the only pure indian language so it should be teh national language (Urdu originated from Persia).

Anyway Tamil lost by just one vote. Hindi won.

All states accepted Hindi as India's national language except Tamil Nadu.

Even today, Tamil Nadu doesn't teach or use Hindi in any of their govt institutes. This is the cause for North Indians and Tamils disliking each other.

Anyway Thalapath Vijay is only a chief minister of an indian state. He has no power with the central government. Because he's not aligned with BJP or Congress, they will not support any of proposals. Ultimately he will fail, the same way Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party ended up failing in Delhi.
