Tourism is down, tea market is down and import prices are rising. Since foreign reserves are getting low Rs is also depreciating. This is actually a good decision. We need to tighten imports to help manage the situation.

More than this government the RW government claims that tourism increased because of their actions and they also used that success to promote themselves for political gain. it is hard to see strong direct steps they took. After Covid the tourism just naturally improved.

So as citizens we need clear thinking and we must be able to tell what government claims are real credit and what is not.
