there is a cup. the cup has hotness to it as its intrinsic property...because of that property (hotness) anyone who touches it gets burned.

ordinary/dumb ppl keep touching this cup, then get burned (dukka experience/emotional/not the dukka mark)

having undersand this nature of the cup, a wise man lable/call/mark the cup dukka (not the experience, just the mark)..not becuase the cup itself dukka but only in the sense that touching it leads to dukka

now another wise man who listened to the previous wise man doesnt touch the cup... is dukka label relevant to him? no.

does he see the hotness of the cup?: yes (even though it doesnt cause any burn to him, the property (hotness) which is marked as dukka is still there/valid
