well in our school if a perfects catches the phone you get it in the evening maybe 0 credit. they have the authority to check and do anything they want but not to scold over some pictures of the owner. that well its not their business because its personal.

yeah they make calls and do various stuffeither way when they catch a mobile phone its most likely considered as the person who had it instead of the real owner. if they want to maintain the so called discipline all they can do is switch of the phone and hand it over to the principle and maybe the girls parents must come to meet the principle and action should be taken then. not the prefects!
