So what? This is nothing compared to what Sri Lankan government has done to some other foreign diplomats (i.e Swedish Foreign Minister).

Whatever said and done, if Sri Lankan government makes an issue out of this seemingly minor incident, that will only effect us. Japan is a huge donor country, we need them, but they don't need us. So before the government go make a big fuss about this, they should think twice about how this will affect the the country.

The aid we still receive from Japan is mostly due to their deep sense of honor and gratitude. Credit goes to JR for this. This may be the one good thing he did to SL.

its a safety measure even in the LA airport v have to give the fingerprint..
coz then they can keep records..coz if that person sells his passport or do a fake thing he gets caught...
even in the srilankan RMV v have to give finger prints rit? for the new licence..
no matter a who coz a minister is also a human ne..

they scan the eye and the thumb its a safty mesure to let know the man came to the country the same man went out of the country and later the same man came in to the country....
Migration is strict now... Okata kagahan na deyak na ne...figer print akak gat ta kiyala... mokada mama anantawat airport wala mage figer print aka dela tiyenawa... mata samahara airport wala passport ona na mokada mage eye eka data base ake tiyena nisa.. just need to keep the eye or the finger on the scaner all the data is in it...

Japanese authorities bada al lan Hina wenawa ati...

I don't see the big fuss in asking to give a finger print. That is no different than asking to sign a document. You talk as if getting a fingerprint is like doing a strip search ! All Japanese airports have a small fingerprint device and a webcam at the immigration counters, you just place your finger and go through. That’s all.

for imigration the power of the county matters..
so if african its different and if ur europian its different..we cant change that...and if there ant sutch rules all people will try to go to the most powerfull courntrys coz they can earn..y the hell are the people going to aussie? or middle east Dubai Etc??
