By the way bro you can buy it in shops now(I think pixel has released a version)however as I said before it is the d2d version and not the retail.However all the options are there the only issue are the one or 2 glitches in the game.You can find tons of fixes for these online.

The current Direct2Drive release of Batman: Arkham Asylum has many bugs like glide kick, grapple, PhysX etc. but the biggest one of them all is that the game can be completed only till around 48%~65% where lots of us were stuck at an invisible wall blocking the path in botanical gardens. Some could go as for as the Ivy room where they would fall into a black bottomless pit due to another glitch.

This savegame is just after entering botanical gardens _*without*_ the invisible walls/bottomless floor bugs.

I've copy pasted the readme file for your convenience.

Readme.txt:

01. Go to C:\Users\UserName\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\
02. Replace the SaveData folder with the one provided. Make a backup first.
03. Go to C:\Users\UserName\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\
04. Replace the XLive folder with the one provided. Make a backup first.
05. Run the game (the buggy Direct2Drive release).
06. It will show you that all save slots are empty.
07. Press the "Home" key on the keyboard.
08. Click "Sign in" on the Games For Windows Live screen.
09. Login to the "Scale" profile.
10. Click on the red X mark to close the GamesForWindows Live prompt.
11. Hit enter to reload the profile (it asks you to reload).
12. The fourth save slot shows you a savegame. Load it.
13. You are now at Botanical Gardens without the invisible wall.
14. Play through and finish the game.

If you guys like me were experiencing problems grappling to certain key points, go into :\Batman Arkham Asylum\BmGame\Config and change the properties of the file DefaultGame.ini to NOT read only. Then edit it and find the line, DefaultGravityZ=-1000.0 Change it to DefaultGravityZ=1 (must remove the - )
Now load up the game and you find your floating. You will have to leap about to gain momentum but you will start to float and then you can guide it to the vent in question. Soon as you see the game save, quit, return the values back to normal and your done. Its a pain to keep doing it yes, but its the only way I found around it for the time being.

f you get any grapple problem. Just keep restarting to checkpoint and it will eventually work. I keep restarting and it worked fine for me

Is this thing can crack securom copy protection ? Better to wait for a Proper release. I still don't know these bugs came with game or coz of DRM
