Today is the day on which Slavery was abolished in the US

On Sep 22, US President Abraham Lincoln, in 1862, after a Civil War, put an end to Slavery.

There were around 4 million slaves in that time!

It was good to put and end to slavery...hmm...but even upto the recent past...and even today...black people are not treated right...

Good post.........Hip hop is a sort of biproduct of Rap, salves created rap language as a code messaging in order to communicate with each other without the slave masters being allerted. That's why most of Rap songs of early years carried lots of anti social sentiments, filth & coloqial language......eg Dawg, bitch,MF etc
