if you want war, take the responsibility to take care of the victims.

no one requested them. as i mentioned before, there were little intervals called peace talks, and they were their growing periods. after each, there were a hell of fireworks, and tears.. we never wanted them either. LTTE was a terrorist group. its not like the india - kashmir war. where both sides are nations...

I'm glad there are not many more people dying, but there are still!

if the war did not end in this way, if it continues of another 30 years ? maybe a doubled amount of the total number of people who died in the past 30 years would die in the future as well. but at the moment, there could be people still having injuries in the medical camps and hospitles, but that number would be something like 0.000001% of the whole number of people who died in the battle for the past 30 years. and now its all over.

millions of people scared to death are now having a good time. after 30 years. as i mentioned before, there are a little number of people spreading false information and magnifying the situation to build up the stage for their "dream leader" to gain their personal benifits. you could find em in EK as well...

I dont know what kind of people you are talking here as still suffering... if you are talking about people who were in the boarders, they have the room to develop now. its a 30 years long war. don't expect the sl to be like USA in the next month after finishing the war.....

Im maybe one of the happiest people that there is no fight anymore! But the way it was done, i got my questions! I hate people getting killed, and people are talking that war is good, when they don't know what it is like, because they are sitting safely at home? Not only our dear soldiers died, we keep forgetting, also random people in the war zone, who don't want to do anything with tamils tigers, and also bombin victims!
Correct me if im wrong, but hardly anyone sees the pain of the living victims! All they care is about the ending, if you want war, take the responsibility to take care of the victims. The people in the camps, can't have their lives back, they are stucked, don't have much water etc.

What you say is partially true, but think of it this way, do we care about random people or do we care about the majority? I'm not saying one life is worth than the other but, on some situations there are decisions that has to be taken very fast, swiftly, because at times it comes down to do that!

Its impossible to have a WAR without people getting killed, at least not with terrorists! Look at U.S. world's most advanced military, with their latest military technology B2 bomers, cutting edge state of the art war machines they still kill innocent civilians in Afghanistan, if a B2 bomber cannot bomb accurately how do you expect age old SL Army crafts to bomb on a coin everytime?

Its WAR, people die.. it has happened before, it is happening now, it will keep happening forever... as disturbing as it may sound, it is the reality! BECAUSE terrifying civilians does have its advantages on the battlefield and off the battlefield too!

Every country that points the finger today on Sri Lanka will have to think about their past! UK for example, demolished BERLIN with its citizens in WWII, anyone has been prosecuted for WAR CRIMES? In Guantanamo Bay still prisoners are being kept for years without a trial on suspicion that they involved in terrorist activities anyone care to talk about HUMAN RIGHTS?

So I think SL is doing what it can, according to our own capacity, so if anyone is saying its slow... well... get your ass down there and help them to make it make fast is all I have to say!

resettlement is going slow, better said not. Still people are getting killed in those camps! So the solution is getting them slowly killed one by one, so you guys will be sure that no terrorist is left, we are so good in killing instead of using law (is there a law anyway)
