I modded my PSU to get higest possible power. don't buy a card that suitable for PSU.
buy your card and get suitable PSU. you can buy PSU from a shop. don't use PSU that
come preinstalled with a casing. they can't provide more than 200W.

branded (IBM/HP) PC have better PSU (Delta electronics) these are better than stock PSU. some PSU's very expensive they costs more than 15000/=.

This PSU not enough for your PC. because its a old version of ATX PSU. Old PSU designed to deliver high +5V power. new ones designed for highest +12V power.

Try shops @ Unity plaza, you may able find find good PSU for a reasonable price.

That mean its not meet standards that need for new Motherboards and CPUs. I don't know
is it a high quality PSU or not. if it high quality one, working fine under heavy load.

Don't buy a VGA that possible with this PSU. buy a VGA you want to buy. then install it on
your PC and test it with heavy load (both VGA and CPU)

I also feaced this broblems, one of my friend's PC very unstable with 400W cheap PSU and
its worked fine with high quality 230W PSU. So buy a VGA and test it. sometimes it may
    work.

send me photo of your PSU inside if you can.

HEY GUYS ! DO YOU THINK 450W SERVER POWER UNIT WILL BE ENOUGH FOR MSI N9800gt ? IT DOENT NEED AN EXTRA 6 PIN POWER CABLE.

WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS CARD ?

    HELP ME OUT.

    THANKS............................

Are you sure to this card doesn't need 6-PIN Power cable ?

NVIDIA says 9800GT GPU based cards require 400W of power. so 400/12 = 33.34A
it need 40A 12V supply. such a high current can't give trough PCI-X port.

Ill try to get some pic of inside of the PSU. Yep sure Try MSI 9800GT. Google it.

By the way if i try a VGA like 9800GT, it needs more power for sure. Therefore PC's other parts can be damaged due to lack of power.

I searched & found out that I have to pay another 8,000-10,000 for a quality PSU(500w).

    Got this for net.

""Eliminate the need for additional power supply, save resources and money
The all new N9800GT-MD1G and N9800GT-MD512 have more accurate control over their power supply, cutting power consumption by up to 25%. Customers will also enjoy that these cards do not require an extra 6-pin power cord, thereby increasing convenience, helping the environment, and saving on the electricity bill.""

How much cost your card ?

if you get a card that possible with your PSU, you can't get performance of 9800GT
    more performance = more power

even my 7300GT heavy load with a game, noticable power drop indicated when I checked 12V voltage with multimeter.

There are few varients of 9800GT cards. some may require 6-Power conn. So check it when
buy it. because most shops have badly desinged cards.

few months ago, my relative brought a 9600GT 512MB card. that doesn't require 6-pin power. but it has 512MB DDR2 400 memory. My old 7300GT has GDDR2 800 memory. chip
is also big in my card. when I test it with a performance test 3D test this card's =28fps
my card 46fps. FarCry 2 running 9600GT like slideshow. but 7300GT, running smoothly.

Check card's specifications such as Core clock,Memory clock and type, shader clock

I think all that matters is the manufacture. MSI is good as i know. I mean MSI N9800gt. What do you think ?

What do think about the Amacrox 500W PSU ? I checked the price. At around 7,000.

PSU seems to good one because its price.. but I can't say anything without see it.
how much the +12V current rating ?
