BY THE WAY MY PSU IS A SEVER POWER UNIT.
HOW MUCH AMPERS WILL I REQURE FOR A GOOD GAMING CARD ?

If you use this PSU for your computer, more than 10A current of 12V line used for
motherboard,CPU,HDD etc., @ heavy loaded CPU. So only 4A for VGA (therotically)
Its may not enough for VGA.
modern PSU designed for deliver more current for 12V supply. old PSU designed for
more current for 5V. 34A +5V not need to your system. 15A enough. but get a PSU
with highest current +12V capability.
you can power up your system with 9800GT card. but its may not stable. otherwise
it will kill the PSU if it low quality one.
Finally, try to get 30A 12V PSU. if you can't find, try to get highest possible +12V current.
many people doesn't think about this side and 90% sales guys at shops are doesn't know about that. I think you asked good question from this forum.
