Ok I dont have a atom laptop but this is what I know-
1. The power usage is low so longer battery life
2.It is good for surfing the web and using office(not multimedia or games)
3.Atom processors normaly come in netbooks not laptops(net books are about half the size of laptops and are more portable)
4.You can get a good one(ASUS eepc from Epsi)for about 50000
5.Don't buy one if you do not have a desktop or laptop at home

Some have Wifi, Bluetooth.

It's for low power consuming..Not for high end processing like gaming, developing, Designing...
