I think so too...but with all the media directed at ranil,cutting 300000 UNP votes & with the animosity even UNP'ers had towards ranil,mahinda managed to pass the half way mark by just 28000 voes & had polled 168,000 more than ranil...

So there's a chance for SF but greater chance for MR to win
