Machan your 2 pc's must hav Network Cards (LAN Cards / RJ 45 connections).

Then Use Cross Cable (Network) between then. It will cost abt Rs. 50/=

Type "How to make cross cable" in google and u get more solutions.

Thanks.

contact me @ www.ktmcreations.net

    ya... Ur a Write.
In this method the machine that connect the adsl modem should always on.... to share the internet connection between two pc's.

I think u should buy a Adsl Router with ethernet ports..... !!!

There are two ways to do it, but you need network adapters on both PCs.
    • Connect the USB ADSL modem to one PC and share the internet connection through LAN. You can make a small 2 PC network by directly connecting the PCs with one another through a crossover network cable. (NOTE: The PC with the modem should be ON for the other one to access internet.)
    • Second method is to buy a multiport ADSL router, but again to connect the router you need network adapters on both PCs. you should be able to find a second hand network adapter for around 500. With this method both PCs can operate individually

using a splitter box which is able to hv one input from the modem and two output for the pc's..(just like multi plug) ..theoritically it should be oK. isn't it?:):)
