Stock of ballot papers found in Ratnapura
A stock of ballot papers marked in favor of opposition common candidate Sarath Fonseka was detected in Ratnapura, a United National Party (UNP) spokesman said.
The ballot papers were handed over to Ratnapura district UNP MP Thalatha Atukorake.
The ballot papers were in turn handed over to the deputy leader of UNP Karu Jayasuriya who called on the Malwatte and Asgiri Chapter Mahanayaka’s short while ago.

UNP Deputy Leader had taken the ballot papers and shown them to the Mahanayaka theras. The Malwatta Mahanayaka Ven Thibbotuwawe Shri Sumangala thera takes a closer look at the ballot papers.
