I gave those verses as proof that its not only Islam that promises a damnation in hell.....even Buddhism says those who do not follow the guidelines (of Buddhism not Islam) will get bad karma & be born as a dog etc....similar to saying if you steal you will go to jail...a deterrent from doing wrong....
I'll be honest with you, I don't know how Karma works, as in no one really knows that I will be born as a dog if I behave bad, you don't know it , I don't know it, neither the monks nor the priest in the mosque!
So lets leave it at that! But simple form of Karma is evident, you don't study and you sit for an exam you not going to pass.. simple as that the deep form of Karma could be a projection of this simple theory that we can perceive!
So lets leave it at that shall we!
Yes....its all ultimately up to how the person behaved on earth....what they did with their God-given resources (health/life, wealth, Wisdom etc..)...and God judges them according to their individual acts.....and in that sense...even non-Muslims may enter Heaven.....& Muslims sent to hell as punishment for their wrong doings.....
Ok so you agree with me here that non-Muslims can go to heaven, that's what you are saying too right?
In other words you don't have to be a Muslim to enter heaven, so if the bare minimum criteria is met we all can go to heaven but if the heaven is the ultimate goal then why put more and more things on the plate and confuse people?
Example: If it was an exam, I being a non-Muslim get 60% and enter heaven, you being a Muslim get 90% and enter heaven.. now WHAT? what do you get that I don't in heaven?
yes even if they didn't believe in God....didn't you notice the Big caps "COULD BE".....we do not know.....its up to the person what he or she has done.....
Yes! I noticed it.. you said "any combo of this"... which also means that you don't have to believe in god, to enter heaven... then why all this fuzz? so if that's true I can still be Buddhist/Hindu/Christian and enter Muslim heaven right?
If that's true, what does it means by Kafir? disbeliever? because "any combo" also means
Good non-Muslim + doesn't believe in GOD this equals to a good disbeliever, care to explain that complexity?
Nope...even an atheist who works for the common good may enter heaven....its just that we are not sure.....its all up how you act...and how God deals with ur acts....
My question/comment is as same as above!
No....God never lied.....judgment day will come....and if you flunk that exam...you WILL face the consequences for your actions...Muslim or not....
But you just said its just a WARNING but nothing else
All i am saying is that....giving a warning...is not cruel....punishing ppl who do wrong is not cruel....Islam is not about being cruel...it is about justice....
In Islam...if you are sick &/or suffer on Earth your burdens in the Judgment Day is reduced....so if you were a non-Muslim parents who worked hard for money to look after your disabled Child....you are looked at with kindness by God....
Your punishment is proportionate to your crimes on Earth.....yes i know the Quran says ALL non-believers will be burned....but you have to read it in context to really see....trust me....Islam is not about being cruel....
Your previous statements contradicts here..
First lets get this straight... is he (Allah) gonna punish people on judgment day or not?
As I see it you have 3 choices
1. Allah gave WARNINGS but its never going to come true - just to scare people (which you've stated in your earlier reply)
2. Allah gave WARNING and it also going to come true (what you are saying now)
3. We can disregard those sections in Quran!
punishing ppl who do wrong is not cruel....Islam is not about being cruel...it is about justice....
Like to comment on this... people may do wrong because they aren't perfect, why aren't they perfect? if creation is not perfect the blame goes to the creator (and this is no ordinary creator, this is someone who had total control over everything)... and you may say it all depends on individual and how they face life's obstacles presented by GOD.. but hey that's irrelevant... because we are talking about an Almighty GOD that can do anything and everything including those obstacles that made us who we are today good and bad... so how come he couldn't make everyone a good human being?
Are you saying he ran out tricks that he could not devised a way around it? sure if everybody is perfect then there will other problems... but again that brings us back to the same question he is ulmighty.. he couldn't think of a way to fix it? and again and again and again...
The problem here however lies in the fact that
Why Allah created us? So to answer all this... either you have to find an answer to this question which would be ideal, or you have to decipher your way back from the current real world situations which I can guarantee you... that you'll ultimately hit the rock bottom and be faced with "Why Allah created us" anyway!
... and thanks for taking time to reply!
