2. It protects against penile cancer, but the rate of penile cancer in normal men is 1 in 10,000 and UTIs
3. Complications like bleeding, anasthetic complications, adhesions etc, occurs in 1-2% (i.e. 100 - 200 per 10000)
So the evidence is conflicting.
IE. You only prevent 1 penile cancer by circumcising 10000 men, but you'll create ill effects of it in 100 - 200 of them during the process.
