The fact is that when Islam came into being, the Christian Countries of Yemen, Egypt, Babylonia and Chaldea [present day Kuwait and Iraq] were weak and indolent. The Muslims had already infiltrated them and were able to provide Mohammad the feeble reason to attack them and take them over when he had so many infiltrators there to help him succeed.
Persia [present day Iran] was by then the land of the Pacifist Parsees who were largely non-violent, unlike their ancestors who were warlike, hence, they were a walk over.

Lest we forget, before all this, the Muslims had the might of the Shi'at Ali and the Strength of Ali bin Abu Talib that won their Wars for them, but, Ali was disgusted with the deeds of his relative and Father-in Law - Mohammad and his Sahaba [Companions] and finally left him instead of executing all of them as he could have.
While the Shi'at Ali and Ali bin Abu Talib were known to be honorable, and Ali was even respected as al Assad, the Lion, Mohammad and his Companions were little more than petty gangsters who relied on their mercenaries. After all, the Sahaba and Moahmmad were murderes who murdered people like Asma binti Marwan, a Poetess and people like Abu Afak for writing better Poetry that mocked him and his Qu'ran!?
If only Abu Talib had not sent his son - Ali to rescue Mohammad and his motley band out of compassion for the relationship, we'd be talking about Mohammad as another has been who had been executed along with his Sahaba for their crimes in Mecca.
Pity how that one mistake cost all of us so much grief.

You know what makes me wonder about the intellectual capabilities of some people who say that Mathematics and Fine Art flourished in Islam?
Algebra, according to them came from a place called al Jib'r.
Obviously they don't know Arabic nor anything about this, but, don't they have the common sense to see that all the things in Algebra are associated with Greek? The value of Pie is from the Greek alphabet and the Theorems are like Pythagoras Theorem and the Euclidean mathematics etc!?
Do you see even one single solitary Arabic sounding name there?
And, what Fine Arts? Islam forbids the making of paintings and sculpture.
And these people talk about us being ignorant of the truth of Islam?
