just finished watching infernal affairs..the movie that martin scorsese remade as departed ..the original asian version is a true masterpiece and in my opinion it's better than departed..the american version somehow lacked something which i cant put my finger on ..but its been quite a while since i saw departed..so i should watch it again soon before comparing the too..

departed is a good movie though ..very entertaining with mark wahlberg jack nicolson..it usually gets the edge being the english movie with familiar culture. never seen gangs of new york
