i got a news dat Chandimal is going to Austrailia with the Sri Lanka A team...........to play some Test matches thats why he is not selected coz they want to gve him the exp of Longer version

Chandimal is in the Sri Lankan A tour to Australia which I find as a very good decision since Chandimal is future. Auz A team is a real good team and to expose to the Ausssie conditions against tough teams are always valuable. But little surprise the fact that Mendis is left out with Thissera Perera though Mendis has found it difficult to come to grips with Asians lately must have resulted the ultimate decision. And for Perera, well a tricky but could say Sri Lanka are trying to set up about 20 men squad for the final 15 men squad of World Cup. That is the only explanation as far as I see and Herath's inclusion is also a very wise decision as to see how he operates in ODIs. And Kandamby, he has been playing fairly against Indians and giving him another go is fair and so is Maharoof who has played very well in the recent past in IPL and domestic level.
I think the idea of going about to Asia come with the integrated intention of winning and experimenting with the mind set targetted to World Cup is the way to go!
