Peradeniya Mal Waththe...
Their sponsorship programmes were always like that. They never sponsored small-scale stuff, like your talent show for example. Not even bigger ones like all these parties that happen in and out of colombo.

You just asked the wrong people. Just that they refused your proposal, doesnt make them crap to the rest of the world. Their service is still much valued by the majority of its customers, which is why I presume so many still stick with them.

Plus its not like they unethically refused to you, they had their corporate economical reasons, can you say NO to them?

yes i know....but having said that can they go against the WORD-TO-MOUTH communication????I dbt think so....Still Sakya having 5000-7000 students and a slight message among them coild fall them in to a deep long term disaster....

And that's how Mobitel and Tigo raised quite considerably. Also mind you we people are not buggers to beg them. That's why i shifted to MOITEL and ETISALAT...

Ok, let me ask you this:

Sakya(which I believe is your relevant institution) has 5000+ students, how many of them switched away from Dialog over this matter?

And did you really change from Dialog to other providers, just because of this?

If they treat the younger generation is this way those bushits will generate dialog a hell of a lot disadvantages verbally and financially...If the youngsters are getting frustrated, it means Brand consciousness is being lost from us...Isn't that a massacre for the dialog?

Sometimes This could. All these prove that dialog is on the edge of loosing the competitive advantage..They all counts!

Loosing their competitive advantage? What are you talking of? :dull: Whats this USP that they are losing by denying sponsorship to your event? Brand image? I dont think so. People who have used both dialog and other service providers know well of the quality the Dialog networks have. Honestly. I'm not trying to pamper dialog, but as a frequent mobile user, I know that for a fact.

Well, talking of the competitive advantage, in my perception, its their strong coverage throughout the island, brand image, service range offered, and the hot chicks in the customer care arcades! :P
