openoffice doesnt have cds does it ?
Besides installing openoffice on linux is not as straight forward as running an exe file.
Sage ?? the creators of AccPac ? thats never free.

Anyway give the linux center a call in the morning. if there is an openoffice cd, they'll download it for you though you'll have to pay for the cd.

stop using it ?

Try reconnecting the mouse. That will get it to re discover the mouse.
